CinCin......Szechaun East(!?)

8+ years ago I worked off of Red Lion Rd in NE Phila and frequented a chinese restaurant called Szechuan East for lunch - I loved that place and went thru withdrawal if I didn't go at least every couple of weeks, the host David knew me by name! I was so disappointed in recent years as the quality of the food has gone steadily downhill and I stopped going.

Well now I know what happened - it appears the chef from there must now work at CinCIn! We finally gave that place a try and wow - they even had most of my old favorites from SE (Szechuan Sesame Chicken & Yeng Yang Chicken)

I got the Seafood in a Basket which was appealing to the eyes as well as the tatstebuds - even though it's in Chestnut Hill & a pretty restaurant I still thought the prices a tad high for Chinese food (I couldn't help but compare that the same dishes I saw going by that I used to pay $5 for at lunch are triple the price there!) well maybe not -anyway I know I'll be back to try my old favorites again!
