Well, I finally tried this place and I understand the mixed reviews it has gotten here. The room is truly beuatiful and so different that one continues to stare around like its your first time in the big city. It is almost enough to distract you from the beer which IMHO is nothing more than OK and the food which, again IMHO, is terrible. I had the Southwestern chicken which was beautiful to look at but I like to eat food. It was a tiny, greasy, piece of chicken complete with a decorative piece of bone and lots of skin. (Who else leaves fatty skin on these days!) Anyway, under the chicken was a tiny dollop of some kind of trendy potato thing. This $14 dinner was less filling than most appetizers. Fortunately my wife, daughter and her friend ordered pizzas which were pretty good and, as they are very delicate eaters, I got some food. My recommendation is stop in some time to see the place, have a beer at the bar and then go almost anywhere else in Bloomfield to eat. My favorites are Tessaro's and D'Amico's. Jack
