First, thanks to whomever posted about this place a few months ago. I'm often in the Laurel Highlands and have trouble finding a place to eat that's even mediocre.

Good food. Not exquisitely authentic, but well made and subtly flavored. We had the Mole Ranchero (pork in a mole flavored with three types of chiles), and the Cabrito (goat in a spicy, tomato based sauce). Both entrees were quite good. The beans and rice were standard beans and rice, and didn't really deserve to be on the same plate.

Good beer list including Dos Equis, Tecate and Negra Modelo.

Great separation between smoking/non-smoking sections. This is extremely hard to find outside major urban areas.

For dessert we had flan and sopapillas.

Total, with tax and tip: $40 dinner for two. But it could have been as little as $20 and we'd have left fat&happy -- we just happened to order from the top of the menu.

And I've certainly been to less authentic Mexican restaurants in the Southwest.

On Rte. 31 (Main St) just east of the Turnpike entrance.
