Cafe Mimi in Swissvale: awesome wings

I'm surprised I haven't seen Cafe Mimi mentioned here before. (Perhaps
it was but I missed it.) The woman who runs it is the former sous chef
for Christopher's. It's on Braddock Avenue in Swissvale, right before
you pass under the railroad trestle, next to a place I think is called
 Frankie's.

There are many noteworthy items on the menu, like the white chili and
the crab and andouille sausage gumbo, but what really stands out IMO
is the buffalo wings and the buffalo shrimp. The wings are small and
tender and swimming in sauce. They're not particularly fiery (and they
only come in one heat) but the flavor is indescribably exquisite.
Ditto for the shrimp. They also have teriyaki wings which are pretty
good, but I go for the buffalo ones every time.

The place is small and busy (at least at lunch, when I go there,) but
there's usually one or two tables available. I don't think they have
separate smoking/no smoking sections, but most of the patrons don't
smoke. Anyway, I think anyone who fancies themselves a wing
afficianado should check the place out.
