New Italian place at Station Square. Tried it Sat evening. A lot of fun
to look at, rooms filled with pictures of Italy, Sinatra, nuns in bumper
cars, etc. Only two bad parts were the pope room were I though a bust of
the pope on a table was a bit offensive (and I'm not even Catholic) and
the men's room where pictures of little boys peeing was, IMO, vulgar and
 bordering on child pornography.
Service was, if anything too efficiant. Over-staffed because they just
opened. Pause between bites and get the "May I take that plate sir".
Food was OK but everything comes family style. This would, no doubt, be
great fun with a large group but is not great for two. At least not if
the two in question are my wife and I because she eats almost no meat.
We settled on salad (huge but bland) and spagetti and meatballs
(actually one enormous meatball). Wine list is small but nice except
they were out of several of the more interesting choices (odd since they
had only been open several days).
Anyway, go with a group and be sure to look around (not a problem, they
 almost insist on it).

the buca di beppo replaced the old theater building between the grand
concourse and the sheraton, right next to the old diner building. It is
3 floors. Pretty neat inside. I ate there on mon. Nice place if you
have 4 or more people but for a couple or a date, it isnt very
practical.. Most food there is "sharable" and for 4 people you are going
to spend between 60 - $80. yuou cannot order anything for yourself.
You order for the table and everybody gets small plates that you share
 from.
