Smith's cakes are out of this world, I've yet to have better, but be aware
they're fairly pricey. The frosting is delicious, not the least bit sugary,
and they make layers with a choice of fruit or custard in between. Raspberry
is our favorite and a Smith's cake for our kid's birthday has been something
of a tradition for the past 13 years, save for their short absence a few
 years back.

 Well worth the money IMHO.

Bethel Bakery, in Bethel Park. Good enough to make me go off my diabetic
 diet :-)

Very good buttercream icing. Very smooth, not "powdery" or oversweet like
most of them tend to be.

 All IMHO, of course.
