It's interesting to hear someone recommend Wiggies. I haven't been there but I believe the Best Wings in the World are available at another location of Wiggies, called the Park Tavern in Erie. They deep fry the reasonably-sized wings and then char-broil them for a few minutes at the end. Their "Herbie's Hot" are absolutely unmatched for taste and texture. I would challenge anyone in Wings Illumanti to try them and not become a raving lunatic for them. I've had Wings at many places in Erie, and have been very disappointed in Pittsburgh Wings.

I was hopeful when they told me that they indeed have opened a place in Pittsburgh, but was disappointed when I didn't see "Herbie's Hot" in the menu. She couldn't tell me what corresponded to Herbies Hot.

They have something like

Mild (nice flavor)
Hot (nice flavor, with not much fire)
Herbies Hot (nice flavor, with just enough fire)
Super Herbies Hot (too much fire, not any flavor I could discern)

plus an assortment of garlic, etc. types.

Has anyone had Wings at Park Tavern? It's a mile or two beyond the GE plant on E. Lake Road (coming from town). Again, I challenge anyone to find better! And if you do, I'll immediately switch! (I know, I know, I'm not loyal!)
