I get to the NPL, adjacent to North Park, several times a year. They
have, for money, the best (and nearest to Buffalo-style) wings. Actually,
I have only had one meal with which I was dissatisfied. And, the treatment
I received--waitress took the sandwich and came back and said that the cook
said it didn't look good! The mgr. came over and apoligized without
grovelling (sp??) They took it off the bill and gave me a coupon good for
a dessert or appetizer---has made me return 4 times after that.

 Now, I'm hungry....

But you really need to try the Gold Rush wings, only available at the Club
House location on Route 8. I live 5 minutes from the original NPL location
you mention, but have to drive 15 minutes to get those gold rushers!

Yes, the wings are juicy, fat, and great at the original NPL location, but
their sauces aren't anything to rave about. But those gold rush wings are
 terrific!

And yes, they are VERY customer-oriented!
