My wife loves French Onion Soup...every time we are in Regent Square,
she requests we go to Dunning's Grill for their French Onion Soup.
Dunning's is located at the corner of South Braddock and Hutchinson.

My favorite is the 7 onion soup at the Church Brew Works on Liberty Avenue
towards town from 40th street. It's made with one of their beers and is
very flavorful. An ironic twist: the "cup" is a bowl, and the "bowl" is
 a cup (i.e., has a handle).

 Jen

My favorite French Onion is at Drew's Diner in Forest Hills. They don't but
the gob of cheese on top, but rather they use these wonderful cheesy
croutons with some grated cheese. I think it's the best! They don't have
it every day so you might want to call ahead.
