Someone in my office called for reservations and someone answered and said they were out of business. But I don't suppose it could hurt to call and verify this. Angel's Corner, Hydeholde
I was at the Hydeholde with my family a couple of months ago. I won't be returning. The menu was fairly creative, but the food was average at best. The service left much to be desired. There were 8 of us and they could not seem to manage to serve all of us. My appetizer (crabcakes) took longer than everyone else's, so they brought out everyone else's first (this is ok). When they then brought out everyone else's salad, I decided to mention to our waitress that I would like either my salad or the crabcakes. She had forgotten about the crabcakes and didn't even realize I ordered a salad! For our main courses, a fish dish came out half-baked (literally!) and the the lamb was well done. Even if it had not been ordered medium-rare, any chef at a restaraunt like the Hydeholde should know better. This might be ok in a moderately priced restaraunt, but for their prices, I expect near perfection. I didn't pay, but I think it came out to be $50+ per person after they "adjusted" our bill. Josh
