Last Friday my wife and I went to "Rome on the Range" now open again but up beside Ross Park Mall. They have given the old Dingbats a new look, nice but a bit overdone for my taste. Good salad, good service, main courses were so-so. We went Italian not steak so I can't speak for their steaks. Sat downtown to Froggy's. Major problem with wines, as in they had few of what they have on the list. However very good ribs and shrimp. (Get the barbeque sauce rather than "Tim's mom's") After the Frog's we went over to Market Square to the (fairly) new Ciro's. Fun place. Great decor, great service, great drinks, good bar snacks, really good jazz. Really deserves a try if you like this kind of thing at all.
