  Steak - The Cattleman's

  Mexican - El Chico's (The one in Norman,20 minutes south, is
excellent!)

I have fond memories of the Cattleman's in the Oklahoma City Stockyards. Went through sort of a rite of passage as a food writer - mustered all my mettle and chomped through a plate of "lamb fries" which, for those who care to know, have the texture and appearance of breaded and deep fat fried condoms.
