first is closest to the convention center and the others a progressivly farther away. all within 2 miles)

First stop should be the city center mall. You will find Max and Ermas (Burger place) Spinnikers, the boulevlard, Mark Pi's, Cooper's Turkey

Second stop should be Katzinger's Deli (Bill CLinton stopped there last time he was in town) this is on the corner of 3rd and Livingston.

third stop, cheap and REALLY GOOD is the olde Mohawk. on the corner of Mohawk and Whittier.

if you like German food, Schmitts is also in german village.

hope this helps!

For good Indian food check out the North Market, located within walking distance. It is one block west of the convention center, just ask around. It has lots of food stalls and neat stuff in it. The Indian booth is very good and reasonably priced.

Check out Schmidts Sausage House (Haus) in the Germantown area! They
have a really nice buffet and the best cream puffs I've ever had! Great
German food at a really good price! The Bahama Mama is a must!

For other Axis Power ;-) restaurants, you might want to try either: Zao - informal atmosphere Japanese sushi bar, caters to late-night Honda
      executive crowd
Otani - very formal, very $$$ Japanese restaurant, exquisitely decorated,
catering to businessmen on business dinners and others who want
to experience a snazzy Japanese formal atmosphere.

Bon Appetit!
