They claim to be a Latvian restaurant. It was quite nice--reminded me of a place in Minneapolis that does Ukranian food only smaller portions and a little more refined presentation. And less spices. The other real winner was Mama Disalvo's (which is apparently run by a man instead of a woman). I had a fine dish of sausage and gnocchi with a sauce that was good enough I mopped it all up with bread afterwards. Tiramisu and coffee at the end. The coffee was the best I had in Dayton, which seems to regard Charbucks as good coffee. (Actually that's not fair--I only had a little time to look around and there might be several good coffee places--in fact I had a decent cup of coffee at the airport of all places in a place called the Boston Scrimshaw Market or Boston Scrod or something like that. I remember it started with "Boston," anyway. Clearly a chain, but I calls 'em like I sees 'em.... Regards, Mike
