Sans Souci in the Renaissance Hotel downtown has excellent food, possibly best in the city.
If you like upscale BBQ, try Pig Heaven, downtown on E. 6th.
Also, Johnny's Downtown is suppose to be very good (haven't personally eaten at this location, but have eaten at a second location)
If you want authentic Mexican, try Nuevo Acapolco (sp?), in N. Olmsted (Lorain Rd). Very, very good salsa, inexpensive, great food.Cleveland, OH

Try Cafe Med on Public Square downtown. A lower priced offshoot of the Bice chain, I had two terrific meals there last November. The pastas were exceptional. Nice room and good service. I wanted to go there for Christmas Day dinner, but when I called they were already booked! You need reservations for Sundays too, very popular restaurant, very nice. Erika On the Erie
