Save room in your visual cortex, 'cause you'll never >remove those images! I can second that emotion! Norway is a fantastic place to visit. I'd be back in a heartbeat........But I didn't find it a very interesting place to eat. Eating out in Norway is very expensive and, like America, most of the restaurants have menus that come from "somewhere else." A Norwegian told me that because it is expensive to eat out it is a special treat rather than just something to eat. So, they don't want to eat the same stuff they have at home. You see lots of Chinese, English French and American restaurants. (In Tromso I must have eaten in the most northern "New York" Pizza parlor in the world.) I'm sure there are very good restaurants to be found but they were out of my price range. One important exception, in Trondheim there is a park just outside of town that is sort of a small Norwegian Williamsburg. It is called Sverresborg and it has a traditional Norwegian Inn. If they go to Trondheim I suggest they eat there. The Inn at Sverresborg, remember that.
