I would suggest somewhere like Briggs or Courtney's. They both have a good brunch menu that is fairly diverse.

Briggs is at the intersection of Highhouse and Maynard Road (the one near Preston corners). Courtney's is near the mall on Walnut Street.

If you're willing to travel to Chapel Hill, you couldn't find much better than the buffet brunch at the Siena Hotel (E. Franklin St.). It is by far the best we have found in the Triangle (desserts are to die for!). Price is $16 or $18 - can't remember which. Reservations are necessary.

There is a nice brunch at the Hilton on Wake Forest just north of the beltline. $14.95 I believe, complete with piano.

Try Tir Na Nog near the City Market. Very good brunch food.
