Sorry, I haven't been to El Dorado, but my wife and I enjoy Salsa Fresh. As they claim, everything is made on the spot. Their phrase is something like: No freezers, no microwaves, no styrofoam, no slo-mo. At any rate, their vegeterian burrito is a decent black bean burrito with lettuce, sour cream and plenty of other fixings with tortilla chips for under $5. They also have meat based burritos, but I haven't had any of them. They have good sauces on their salsa bar (pico, chip salsa and one (or two?) hotter green sauses). Their tortilla chips are freshly made on the spot, but they're your standard yellow corn restaurant supply chips, not the nice lighter white corn. In short, I go there about once every couple of weeks and fill my void for a good black bean burrito (a void left, I might add, by a departed Flying Burrito in Raleigh. Yes, I make the occasional trip to Chapel Hill just to go there, but it's a long trip for a $12 meal).

The food is very fresh, tastes great and they give you a lot for your money. You can have it as spicey or not spicey as you like (I am a not spicey person), both by requests when they cook it or by using the Salsa bar that they have set up. Now, the problem is that everytime my husband and I go out, we want to go to Salsa Fresh and the kids are getting tired of going all the time (though they all like the quesadillas there). Give it a try...I think that you will like it and if you use the Dine-A-Mate, you won't be out much if you don't. Karin (and Frank) Boosman PS they are on Duraleigh Road just a few blocks down from Glenwood. The first time we went, we came up Blue Ridge from Cary and then realized that it was only a few blocks off of Glenwood. It is in a little strip mall across from a nice apartment/condo complex.
