In Raleigh try these places Margaux's : Excellent fresh seafood, nice atmosphere, highest level of service that i have seen in this city, moderately expensive, good wine list, shouldn't miss it Vinnie's : The best for steaks. Pricey, Service varies from good to great, nice atmosphere Simpson's : Piano Bar, Pricey, Relaxing Atmosphere, Something for everyone on the menu Manchester's : If you want something inexpensive but good, try their pizza, it is the best anywhere, great bar, a raleigh version of cheers would be the best way to describe it. If you would like more ideas, let me know your price range and kind of food you like, but if you can hit Margaux's it's raleigh's best, at least that i have seen.
