We went to Little Tokyo tonight for dinner and were impressed. Little Tokyo is on Six Forks in North Raleigh behind Rock Ola cafe. We usually go to Waraji, but decided to try something different. The miso was MUCH better than Waraji's, but the salad left a lot to be desired. The edamame at Waraji's is better, but not a lot. As for the sushi, Little Tokyo was superior. Everything just seemed tastier and there was a wider variety of nigiri and maki sushi. The downside: the price. Little Tokyo is probably about 15-20% more expensive than Waraji. Is it worth the extra? Pound for pound, probably not. But the difference in taste was compelling enough that I'll go back to Little Tokyo, even if it means getting a little less food. Recommended.
