We finally had lunch there today. Some observations/facts 1. Great sushi--probably the best we have had in the triangle (including waraji, little tokyo, sushi yoshi, etc). Fresh, excellent rice consistency, good variations, proper temperature, etc. very good Miso, too. 2. THey still have the whole coffeehouse thing, which is an interesting combination, and not one that is that necessarily a natural combination. 3. I do not know if they have any food other than sushi. No yakatori, tempura, etc. no non-japanese food I could see. 4. They expect a beer license in a month. At that time they should start having dinner hours. 5. Run by a very friendly husband and wife. The husband is the sushi chef with 21 yrs experience. 6. Not cheap, but not too bad for sushi. The regular sushi is about $4-5 for 2 pieces. The rolls are about the same price for 6 pieces. beautiful sushi. WE had the rainbow rolls, including smoked salmon, tuna, yellowtail, shrimp and avocado over a long california roll for $8.50, but this would be a whole meal for one person and beautifully done. In all, excellent sushi and worth the trip. 7. They do takeout and you can call ahead with an order.
