The Ninth Street Bakery in Durham, NC is great! They have healthy foods, vegetarian, an extensive line of home baked breads and rolls, and scrumptious desserts. They do breakfast, sandwiches, salads, etc. And sometimes they get ambitious and do dinners several nights a week, but I don't think these went over too well because they stopped. The decor and atmosphere are "college hangout for grad students and professors". Service is minimal, place your order and they deliver it to your table sometime (can't be in much of a hurry here!). You bus your own table. They tried table service, but it was even SLOWER than placing your own order! But the wait is worth it.

Hope this helps!
