your picks in Rochester NY?

Bacco is great for Italian - unfortunately I'm not sure what street it's on - it's right near downtown.  And you must go to Dinosaur BBQ for the food and the entertainment (I work there, so I am biased, but I think you'll be very happy).  We also have live blues music 6 nights a week, and we are closed on Sunday up there.

I've also heard that California Roll has the best sushi.  Good luck!

What are your tastes?  A nest place is the Daisy Flour Mill.  It is an old flour mill that has been converted into a resturant.  I'll 2nd the Dinosauer. It's downtoen in a converted railroad station, overlooking the river.  Empire Brew Pub in the High Falls distict is very good. Again near downtown.  For music, pick up a copy of Freetime.   Lists what's going on in the area.  What tyype of music is playing where.
