THE WHOLE IN THE WALL a cooperative restaurant specializing in chicken, fish and vegetarian fare. the creamy mushroom soup is to kill for. a meal in itself. everything cooked from scratch by happy, cotton wearing students and otherwise intelligent people. 2ts off route 17. take the robinson st exit and hed ofr the southside. vestal parkway to pennsylvania venue exit. turn left at the light, one block, left again and park. round window on right. COPPER CRICKET a wonderful eclectic restaurant run by former english profs. its in what used to be a house on main st. from the ouside it looks like another student slum. inside, second-hand clothes line the walls with a shelf of hats all around the place. try one on. then order whatever you like. menu changes everyday and it closed during school breaks. trust me its on main st, otside the city proper. more to come dan rigney
