Buffalo, NY Fast food - road food - greasy spoon

For the traveller tired of the NY Thruway rest stop food, there is a great greasy spoon fast-food place more-or-less across from the Buffalo Airport. It is "Beef & Sirloin" at 4611 Genessee, right across from Denny's and the Wellesley Inn, east of the Airport entrance. If you are headed west on the Thruway from Rochester, take Exit 49 (Transport Rd.?) south to Route 33 (Genessee), turn west on Genessee about a mile.

Good shakes (there is a custard stand that's part of this unseemly-looking complex), ground sirloin burgers with grilled onions available. Hot dogs with a good, spicey "Texas Sauce". Beef on 'wick, etc. etc. etc. Even an attached pizza and sub section. The frenchfried onion rings were very good. This place is totally without style or pretention. What you see is what you get, but I wouldn't miss it when passing thru!
