I'm surprised nobody mentioned the view from the El-Tovar hotel on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It almost looks fake! Also, try the Furnace Creek Inn, The views of Death Valley are unreal. On the east coast, The Charthouse restaurant on the hudson river gives nice sunsets. George Washington bridge and the NYC skyline to the South, Tappan Zee bridge to the north. John
