For Lunch: The Shed, Josies', Molly's are all good. For dinner La Turtulia (sic), El Farole (on canyon road) and and (I always forget the name of it), here are the clues: It's a woman's name It's in a railroad depot For breakfast, La Fonda is good. A good day trip out of santa fe is Chimayo which has a great restaurant called Rancho de Chimayo... I've only eaten there for lunch but always enjoyed it. skip From X Wed Oct 27 17:40:14 EDT 1993 Article: 6403 of rec.food.restaurants

Haven't tried La T. or The Shed, but Cafe Pasquel's is very good NEW Mexican food. Also try Guadalupe Cafe (on Guadalupe near Alameda), Garduenos, and Peppers for New Mexican cuisine. For excellent Mexican food, the Old Mexico Grill in the College Center off of Cerrios can't be beat (in Sante Fe). Many seafood dishs, typical Mexican cuisine, and good margiritas. --- Gavin (Visualize Whirled Peas!)
