Today it's still a small town but loaded with specialty shops that attracts thousands of patrons on weekends and the today they're growing mostly half millin dollar homes instead of corn, produce and livestock. Larrison's Turkey Farm has been there since the mid 1800's and it includes a very popular restaurant serving mainly mainly turkey. We don't get there often to eat but we did this afternoon, a Friday, with no waiting. Dinner times can be an hour wait but it's worth it. They do have live turkeys on the farm part out back and inside the old inn is like eating in a museum. There are genuine antique lamps hanging from the ceiling and I don't think that there are two alike. There are numerous cigar store native-Americans in the hallway. Restrooms are upstairs but so are the bears, full size stuffed bears in the bedrooms are a must see. Now as for the quality of the food, one indication is a plaque in the main entrance. It is from President Ronald Reagan and Vice-president George H.W. Bush because of Larrison's head chef cooking for the 1985 Inauguration. Rich Dean
