Greenville Depot: restaurant in old train station (NH)

Last night I had dinner at:

Greenville Depot
Dunster Hill Rd.
Greenville, NH 03048
603-878-4510

It's in Greenville's old railroad depot on the north side of Rt. 45, immediately west of the intersection where 45 switches from Main St./[Old] Wilton Rd. to Dunster Hill Rd.

They opened in November ('98). They've got one room with a long bar (~4 beers on tap, including Newcastle). Another room has dinner tables (set up with rose table settings, perhaps for Valentine's Day). The interior is white painted wood, with some railroad maps/engineering drawings hung up. Most area railfans are probably familiar with the building, but news of this adaptation of the building may not be widespread yet.

The menu ranges from a $3.95 hamburger to a $16.95 8 oz. filet mignon w/bernaise sauce. 11 appetizers, 3 soups, 4 salads, 8 a la carte sides, 24 full entrees and 12 sandwiches/burgers. The $9.95 blackened chicken, with rolls, salad, baked potato and sliced carrots I had was good. Service was attentive. I live 23 miles away, but I'll return from time to time, particularly when I'm looking to eat in the Monadnock region.

I didn't notice posted hours, but they closed at 9PM on that Wednesday night.
