Here's the scoop: Go, sit back, enjoy -- and spill money like water without a drop of worry. Yes, it WILL cost you to eat here, but dammit the food is so, so fine. My last visit was -- let's see -- four years ago, and I dropped $300 for two, which included two cocktails, two appetizers, two salads, two entrees, two desserts, two coffees (brewed at the table at $10 a crack) and a magnificent $60 bottle of wine. I never have regretted a bit of it, even if the service was a tad snobbish (we had more attention from the busboy than anyone else). No matter how you slice it, Palace Court is prime territory for those who really, truly love exquisite food. Normaally, I'd launch into all manner of descriptions, but here I'll just tell you to pony up and get more than what yoy pay for. It's worth the trip, and then some. How funny, Palace Court's Executive Chef 4 years ago is now the Executive Chef at the restaurant where I work, in addition, he brought a few of his people over with him, one of which is our Sous Chef. And our general manager used to be the sommilier at Palace Court. Next time you're in Vegas come into Gallagher's at The New York New York. It isn't quite as formal as Palace Court, but the food is phenominal.
