While not strictly an Italian restaurant, I *NEVER* fail to eat dinner at The Garlic Cafe (at Twain and Decatur) whenever I'm in town. If you like garlic, this is T-H-E place! While the restaurant's decor and prices ($20-$30) are modest, the flavors you will experience will last long after your trip!!!

My strongest recommendation: If I have *ANY* reason to be within 250 miles of Las Vegas, I find some reason to make it into town *JUST* to have dinner at this restaurant!!

We have two favorites. One on the far west side is called Parma
Ristorante. A small quite place, it's on Rainbow Blvd between Sahara and Charleston I believe. Michael, a displaced Chicagoan, is both the owner and a wonderful chef. Great Northern Italian specialties.
On the East Side of town is the Bootlegger. A Little more
commercialized, but also has a takeout window. Also the best meat raviolis in town.
There is a large list of Italian restaurants under the Dining
category of the LAs Vegas Leisure Guide at:

Enjoy. Mike.

Antonio's is the italian place and its wonderful! I was there last weekend. The service is immpecable. The food marvelous and the desserts are to die for...try the hazelnut tort...yum! Buzios is the little seafood place they have there by the pool. I have heard it was good but didn't have a chance to try it...

if I were to compare Buccaneer Bay at Treasure Island to Antonios at the Rio, I would say that Antonios wins by a hair. The atmosphere is what you pay for at Buccaneer Bay...The food at Antonios is much better.

I realise some folks on here bashed the buffet at Rio too but we had no trouble getting in for the Saturday brunch and it was wonderful too!

Try Spargo's at Ceaser's Forum Shoppes. Great food, a little on the pricy side.

Not many people have good things to say about Excalibur, but I ate at Lance Alot A Pasta in the Excalibur during a visit in April. Very good food and reasonable price; and the service was terrific.
