Well, here's mine, in rank order:
Worthwhile Under $10:
1. Rio: Amazing variety for the price.
2. Stardust: The Warehouse Buffet still has decent quality food for the money.
3. Golden Nugget: This was great when I had it years ago, and most people say great things about the casino.
Worthwhile over $10:
1. Ballys Sunday Brunch ($25): lots of waiters, lots of champagne, lots of amazing food (sushi, lobster newberg omlets, lox, wild game). Pricy but good.
2. Caesars: The buffet by the sports book is super for $12, especially if you like shrimp, as it is all shelled) Great deserts.
3. Tropicana: Never been there, but have friends that swear by it.
Not worth it at any price:
1. Circus Circus
2. Circus Circus
3. Excalibur (a C2 enterprise)
4. Circus Circus
Its not worth it at any price. Please please don't go.

Buffet list
For gourmet - We loved the Tropicana Sunday brunch buffet ($25). Champagne, caviar, filet mignon, salmon florentine, bananas foster (fantastic), crepe suzettes, sushi, much more all quality items; lots of waiters, nice view in their new room. But we've been there twice - what other more gourmet type buffets would you recommend (besides Bally's which seems to have gotten some recommendations). Regarding cheaper ones, Stardust is very good - and their are $1 off coupons in the coupon book, and $1/2 off coupons if you check in to the hotel. We loved Sahara's prime rib dinner buffett for EXCELLENT prime rib. Selection not tremendously large, but there were other main items such as chicken, fish, etc. But let me tell you, that was real Prime Rib - juicy, tender, excellent (not frozen/thawed/microwaved or "roast beef" -- it was the real prime rib). 4 of us ate there twice and tried several different cuts when they brought in new roasts and they were all excellent. (Sorry I can't remember the price $5.99, 6.99, 7.99....whatever it was was well worth it). Breakfast buffett was good, maybe not quite as good as Stardust's. Article 796 of alt.vacation.las-vegas:
