For a GREAT, inexpensive breakfast or lunch try Heidi's on Virginia St. (the original Heidi's, although the newest one south of town has a trendy-er decor and a bakery). The oatmeal is served with huge sides of brown sugar, milk, raisins, and the basket of muffins and toast is super. Hash browns are seasoned chunks of potato. Haven't had the omlettes, but they look wonderful. Service is often hilarious, complete with crusty grandmother-ly waitresses. Big brown tuck-and-roll booths, soft drinks served in mason jars. I think there's also one in Carson City.Nevada
Any good food in RENO?
