I do not live in Netherlands, but during my last visit there, two restaurants impressed me (both in Utrecht):
1. Stravinski - french
2. L'osteria - the name says it all

Enjoy!

I don't live in Holland, but used to.

In The Hague, there is a very good indonesian restaurant 'Bali'. Actually it is in Scheveningen, which is the part of The Hague close to the coast.

It might be a little on the expensive side compared to the ordinary Indonesian restaurant - but it is worth every penny (or guilder).

You should order Rijs Tafel - rice table, you get a small portion of different dishes - 10 and above, and rice to go with it.

Eet smakelijk.

Emma.
