Hey Barry-
I lived in Missoula about six years ago and it has changed, but there are a few recommended restaurants. 'The Depot' is outstanding- tends to cost $15-$30 per person, but the food is great! The Mustard Seed is a great 'chinese/asian' quisine style restaurant-- also, great prices and food. There are a few microbreweries in town-- the renovated railway station
--you basically can't miss it-- it's at a cul de sac on one end of the downtown-- tends to be expensive-- but has great atmosphere. You can get 'brains at eggs' at one of the diners, but I can't remember the place's name! enjoy!
