Nobody answered my request for a Billings, Montana, restaurant suggestion. So I ate in my hotel--the Sheraton Billings. It was good! Having all spent money back in my pocket, I think I'd skip the appetizer (bay scallops, hot and dry sausage slices, wide egg noodles, and a white cream sauce). But I'd ask for the boneless pork cutlets with raspberry vinegar sauce all over again. At breakfast the next morning, I tried the salmon 3-egg omelet with 2 cheeses. The salmon tasted very good but dominated the rest of the mix. Next time, get 'em separate for a nice twist on steak and eggs. BTW, the room was very inexpensive ($48 government rate), but the food much more in line with East Coast prices. The bill for my appetizer-plus pork dinner (no wine, no dessert) was $24. I've often found food pretty good at the Sheraton chain. This particular operation was more inventive than usual. --Janet Wintermute From [email removed] Fri Aug 23 17:12:04 EDT 1996 Article: 27252 of rec.food.restaurants
