It's not much on artificial atmosphere (if you care for that sort of thing) but the food is good and the prices are low.

The owners, who speak very fluent English themselves, are targeting the
*American* customer, and no sign is written in Spanish. The owners said that customers want to see Spanish-language signs to confirm authenticity, but the customers can't read them.

We each got a beef burrito with a bit of green chili for a total (for both of us) of less than $5. With the addition of two drinks, it made lunch for my wife and me.

It's on the southwest corner of 4th Street and Kansas Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. http://mapsonus.switchboard.com/bin/maps-maponly/usr=~3d7124ed.d6f85.2d4 6.6/c=6/isredir=1/

From I-70, take the 7th street trafficway exit (US 169 or US 69) to the south. At Kansas AV, turn to the east or left. Goto 4th ST, and it's on the SW corner.

(Cruuently, the bridge to the east is closed, so don't try that route.)

I didn't see a name on the place.
