Well, for medium priced you might try one of the S&P Oyster House locations. Higher-end would be Bristols, at Olive & I-270. For what it is worth, the Bristol's seafood is always fresh. Quality is similar to Legal Seafood in Boston area, but pricing is higher, to go with the fancier decor and air-shipped fish. They also have fresh hot biscuits that they bring around constantly - right off the pan.

If all you want is some fried cod, there are several locations that are excellent, such as Zia's on the Hill.

S&P Oystert Houses are generally OK. Best is probably Bristol's, but they know it and their prices reflect it.

Steamer's on Olive in West County (about 10000 block I think). Used to be in Dogtown.

With out a doubt one of the best has to be the Blue Water grill in Kirkwood. They offer a variety of fish cooked in some different sauces or ways.

So that's where they went. We were down near there just last night and I noticed they were missing. I know the old place was good..
