Any : recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. I'll give this a go... 1. Randis Tres Cafe - fun place, get a spot on their deck overlooking the skyline. Their anti-pasta bar is amazing. 2. Broder's Pasta Bar - Great neighborhood pasta place (I live around the corner from it). Just got their wine license (yeah!). Almost always a line. Very informal, but excellent nouveau pasta creations. At 50th and Penn Ave S. 3. Goodfellows -Probably one of the best restaurants in Minneapolis. Pricey. Haven't been there yet, :( Downtown in the Conseratory on Nicollet. 4. New French Cafe and Bakery - Nice, relaxed french bistro-styled food. In the Warehouse district. 5. Cafe Un Deux Trois - Another relaxed french bistro place, but in the classy art-deco Forshay Tower downtown. 6. Luci's Italian Restaurant in St. Paul - Heard great things about this Italian place. Note - it's in St. Paul. There is a similarly named place in Minneapolis. May be tough to get reservations, though. 7. California Cafe - Yeah, it's in the Mall of America. So sue me. I actually like this place. If you can stomach the shopping frenzy atmosphere, the food is pretty good. Of course, since you're coming from California, this may turn out to be a pale imitation. A month ago I would have suggested Kapoochi's as a great nouveau place to check out. Unfortunately, in today's newspaper there's a front page article about it closing suddenly due to emmbezlement by its accountant. A pity. There you go. Feel free to email me if you have any specific questions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Chris Kantzes [email removed] "Als Ik Kan" Minneapolis, MN ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Fine Dining in Minneapolis--Where?
Try D'Amico cucina for the best in Italian, or D'Amico and sons for well priced casual dining. Also, Try Tour de France owned by bicycle champion Greg LeMond And his brother in law.
