Ave.) have always been adequate and a relatively decent meal. Their pasta dishes are always huge. Granted, the pasta might not always be cooked like it should be, but more often then not it is prepared well. I enjoy it because I get a level of decency at an appropriate price. Plus I can have my fill of roasted garlic! :> Bill

Possible. Ours was so bad, I got through about 10% of it and stopped eating. My wife always was quite appalled. Her spaghetti was also overcooked, but was edible. The sauces were just "OK". We were never going to go back ever again, but had a "group night out" arranged by the students, which is where I had the pork chop (not too bad at all....quite edible), my wife once again had spag. and it was once again overcooked with ok sauce. We won't go back, and will probably go to PappaRazi in Newton for lack of anywhere better at present, although their prices just recently went up. (We have also found other PappaRazzi's to not be quite as good as that one. Also last summer for about 3 months, they were BADly preparing their lasag.'s both overcooking the pasta, and Badly burning large chunks......) <sigh> I dream of lasagna with a light meat sauce, delicate noodles slightly al-dente.........<sigh> :-) Anyone know if Felicia's is still in the N.End? haven't been for years now, but they used to do a decent lasagna and an even better canneloni (sp?) We never did find the one little spot I popped into one day about 5 years ago and had the BEST lasagna of my life....... <sigh> (I knew I should not have skipped lunch today, now I am going to have troubles concentrating on this screen...... :-)
Tom, Since you are in Wellesley, you should try Agostino's in Natick for "home-cooked" Italian food. I grew up in Natick, and whenever I visit home, I'm there. Good food, resonable prices. If you take rt. 135 into downtown Natick, take a right at the police station, onto Washington St. As soon as you take the right, try and find a parking space, because Agostino's is just about 150 ft up on the right. It will beat Vinny T's anyday. Bill
