Quite respectable, as are the other beers I've had there; they do know
how to pour a pint, and they serve enough Guinness to keep it fresh.
(And lest anyone be tempted, no, I'm not in the least interested in
the "There's no good Guinness outside of the following three pubs in
 Dublin" discussion.)

A quick note on eating dinner at the Burren, as opposed to David's
brunch: evaluated as a pub, the food is quite good; the pub dishes are
well done, and the more adventurous food can be, if not magnificent,
then at least tasty and worth a try. As David noted, the portions
aren't enormous, though I haven't yet left hungry. The atmosphere is
definitely pub-style -- you seat yourself and flag down a waitress,
don't expect to find a table when there's a session in progress, and
resign yourself to the inescapable bar smoke when the place is full.
