It's not too pricey if you create a meal that way. Entrees are expensive, though. The tapas are not overly "ethnic" Grendels has a great atmosphere. Some of their food is good (some of it isn't) California Pizza Kitchen is a relatively new addition to the square. The food is quite good - something for everyone. Inexpensive. It's not a place to linger, though. If you don't need to drink, Bartleys burger can be fun. Really fabulous hamburgers. Interesting atmosphere. I hear that Henrietta's Kitchen at the Charles Hotel is good. It's not cheap, but not extremely expensive, either. Then there's the Harvest. Although I've heard claims that the main dining room has deteriorated, you can order from the bar/cafe menu and linger for a long period of time in a nice, cozy atmosphere. It's a terrific place to chat with a friend. Casablanca has good food. Regular entrees tend to be a bit pricey. Atmosphere in the back room bar area is very nice. Christine
