My parents and I have season subscriptions at the Huntington, so we eat in the neighborhood five times a year. Based partly on the fact that it's very near to the theatre, and my dad doesn't get around very well these days, but also on the fact that we REALLY enjoy their food, Taste of Asia has replaced Dixie Kitchen as our most frequent choice for dinner on theatre nights. We tend to choose more from the Chinese choices than from the Vietnamese, but have seen many people very happy with big bowls of pho. I especially like the three or four "rice casserole" dishes - rice with a topping baked and served in a hot clay covered pot. The one with chicken and mushrooms is wonderful. The service is friendly and good, although they tend to get very busy as the dinner hour progresses. It can get a little difficult to get a check right away at the end of the meal, but we've never been in danger of missing a curtain. However, do keep an eye on the time if you've got reason to.
