We often eat at Rasoi (Indian) which is at Trolly Sq corner of Rt 9 and Edgell Rd. I like some of the dishes at EO Noodle at the corner of Temple and Rt 9. The Dolphin in Natick center has great sea food but looong waits on weekend nights. The Aegean in a little mall at the intersection of Rt 30 and 126 just off Rt 9 has some tasty Greek dishes (good by metro west standards anyway). So far as I can tell there are no good contemporary American restaurants with some of the more trendy preparations and generally lower fat. If you find one, please post it. The Framingham /Natick strip of Route 9 is currently in the process of getting just about every chain restaurant possible (or so it seems). Most of them aren't bad but aren't much to rave about either - Friday's, the California Pizza Kitchen (in the mall), Bugaboo Creek Steak House, Legal Sea Food, the Olive Garden. If nothing else, it gives you a choice in environment if not a great variety in the food itself.
