There is a restaurant near me called Helmand that serves
Afghanistani cuisine. It was several months ago that I went, but it was
a very exotic and unusual dining experience. Lovely atmosphere. Alas, they
were still trying to get a liquor license. However, you might find it
interesting to try some time. It is on First Street in Cambridge,
diagonally across from the Cambridgeside Galleria. Also, the Union Square
Restaurant on Bow Street in Union Square is another interesting option.
A gourmet restaurant that is not too stiff and not very big.
However, I've heard many good things about Dali, too. Good luck!
