Is he pulling my > leg? Izzit worth the trip? From where? It's 10 miles away from me, and it's definitely worth the trip. It may be closed for the season by now. When it's open, yes, many people think it's worth the trip. My cousin in NJ remembered it from a business trip over 20 years ago and always gets over there when he's in the neighborhood. The main Kimball's farm is on Rt 110 in Westford MA just over the Littleton line. (From I-495, take exit 31 to 119 south, make a left at the first light - Kimball's is on the right in about a mile.) There's a second Kimball's ice cream shop on 225 in Carlisle between Carlisle center and Bedford. Kimball's was once a real farm with real cows (hence the ice cream). About 15 years ago, they got rid of the cows and put in a pitch-and-putt and driving range where the cows used to graze, and now they've got a mini-golf setup as well. But they still have the (wonderful) ice cream. - Steve Stein
