I should always read the menu thoroughly before going into a restaurant!! If I (or my wife) had, we would have skipped Narita in Harvard Sq. It does not require rocket science to guess that a "Japanesse" restaurant that lists "Soba U-don" on their menu does not have a staff that really knows either Japanese language or Japanese food. The other clue was the lack of Japanese customers. Did the food taste all that bad... no , but was it good ? Also No. The negimaki showed the Korean ownership in its spicing. A nice flavour but the cut of meat was too grissly for my taste. The sushi was plentiful but not particularly fresh. The tempura was a little on the greazy side. Not enough to complain but enough to notice. We had already decided that we would never go back... but to add to the distress, I found myself violently ill one hour after eating. So , when in Harvard Sq. if you want to eat in a Korean/Japanese restaurant, stick with Shilla! (sp?) Charlie
