The Chanitcleer out in 'Sconset has the rep of being the best on the island; perhaps deservedly so, but I find their heavy French cusine to be a bit much in the middle of Summer. Check out Black-Eyed Susans (on India Street) for breakfast or dinner (not open for lunch). Great pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Inventive use of spices.
