I tried that place and was reasonably impressed until I realized that
every dish tasted the same - nice presentation, no character, no spice,
just one generally bland taste throughout....

 Has it changed?

Summary: good chinese, cheap, esp. orange anything and seafood

Beijing Star on Main Street in Waltham, Mass, across from the Shaw's
Supermarket. I've gotten take-out dinner from them several times, and
the food has varied from good to very good.

Do not mistakenly go to the Chinese place across the street (Tiki Hula
Scorpion Jade Dragon Fountain, or something like that) unless your
sole interest is drinks with large umbrellas.

Prices are just high of cheap (in line with the Indian and Thai
restaurants on Moody). Decor/ambience are OK.

Chinese dumplings were OK, nothing to rav about.

Recommendations: orange chicken, any special, any shrimp dish.
