The Andover Inn is a fine (and upscale) restaurant. I've tried the Sunday rijstaffel...you must make a reservation...and it was good. Maybe not tremendously spicy, like you'd find in Holland, but close enough for a few thousand miles away.

Historical note: before Jimy Mac's was Jimy Mac's (and Butch was the second owner of that place) there was a restaurant next door called Restaurant Indonesia. Owned by Jimy's mother (from Holland, but of Indonesian ancestry).

When Butch expanded into that space, he told me that the kitchen needed extensive cleaning. Butch eventually gave up the extra space and then after a couple more years sold Jimy Mac's back to Jimy. Jimy opened Little Bali as a side line in the Jimy Mac space. After they closed, I have no idea what happened to them.

Butch, of course, tried places near Central Square (in the old Nightstage building) and the South End. I have no idea if he's still in the South End...
